Hello! Fellow Royal Anglians, this site has been developed to attract as many of the Royal Anglians, Both serving and ex to share their experiences.

The Mission statement of this site is to give ex-members and members of their respective units, an easy means to be able to stay in touch with your mates from your army days.

With the 3 Regular Army Battalions Represented, It will take us many years probably to Achieve this membership (About 2,000), but we will be around for many years anyway so we can be patient in our buildup to this aim, Every ex or currently Serving Soldier of the Royal Anglian Regiment that sees this site, are kindly requested to take the time it takes to at least register that you are a Serving or Ex-member of the Royal Anglian Regiment or its Forebears and Affiliates (Essex Regt, Norfolks, T.A.)

There is a T.A. section in the Vikings Forum, The 3rd Battalion (Steelbacks) the 4th Battalion (The Tigers) the 5th Battalion and the 6th Battalion are represented, the Regiments section comes under whichever unit they are historically linked to, i.e. Cambridges are linked to the Vikings, e.t.c.

To join simply go to your respective Battalion link, once there, near the top of the page in quite small writing you will see a 'Register' link, click that, and thats all there is to it, when you are filling out your details please use your real name if possible, that will help others to positively identify you, that might not have, if you had registered under a name such as scoobydoo561 for example.

The main benefits of this web site  are...... seeing other members who are currently online (viewable when you are viewing your respective battalions forum), an easy profile format for registry of members, posts can be re-edited at will, the design can be changed as and when required, a customisable forum, a customisable Gallery, and a chat room feature.

There are also stats to do with viewings of pictures, you can also leave a comment by a picture, see how many people have viewed a certain subject and see how many views have occured in total in the picture gallery.

Additionally,  you can relive your career through posting activity on the site, the more posts you put up, the more you will progress up the Royal Anglian Forum chain of command!

0-5 Posts = Basic Training,    6-10 posts = Private     11-29 posts Lance/Corporal and so on.

Any suggestions that you might have will be greatly appreciated, good or bad.
